Our Learning Environment
As a small, home-based center, we don’t have traditional classrooms. Instead, children of all age groups follow the same daily schedule, but we tailor the learning materials to be age-appropriate, ensuring each child receives the right level of educational support and engagement.
Toddlers Group
In our toddlers group (ages 18 months and up), we encourage curiosity and independence through play-based learning. Our teachers create engaging activities to support language development, motor skills, and social interaction.
Preschool Group
At Little Sunshine's Family Childcare & Preschool, our preschool class offers a play-based curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills. Children engage in hands-on activities to prepare for kindergarten and beyond.
Pre-K Group
In our Pre-K group, we focus on school readiness by providing a structured yet fun learning environment. Our experienced educators guide children through early literacy, math, and science activities to build a strong foundation for future academic success.
